Position - Finance Team Secretary
Location - Newcastle Contact Centre

We have an exciting opportunity available in the form of a Finance Team Secretary role. Based at Gosforth and reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for providing a wide ranging administration and secretarial support to the Finance Director and his Senior team.
Key responsibilities to include:
o Co-ordinating meetings, events and training courses
o Effectively manage the diary and travel arrangements for the Finance Director and the Senior Finance team.
o Post and email management
o Organising travel and accommodation
o Preparation of expenses returns
o Co-ordination of consistent task and project management tools used throughout the team
o Assisting in the preparation of papers, presentations, statutory accounts and reports
o Handling telephone calls using own initiative to resolve queries.
o Preparing agendas and documenting minutes and action points from meetings
o Maintaining correspondence files and permanent information files
o Maintaining a calendar of key finance deadlines, monitoring and reporting on delivery against deadlines.
o Distribution of output from the finance team general fax machine
o Other day to day administrative tasks
To be successful you must be highly literate, possess an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and have very strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of providing admin/secretarial support in a finance function would be a distinct advantage. Flexibility in working hours is required along with the ability to use your initiative, be proactive and work unsupervised. Enthusiasm and a passion for getting it right first time every time to satisfy customer needs is essential.
